It is learnt from the IPR Protection Meeting held by Shenzhen Customs of Guangdong Province that last year, the said Customs took 5,500 measures to protect IPR and seized 18 million pieces of infringing goods worthy of 190 million yuan, ranking the front in all the customs across the nation.
In recent years, Shenzhen Customs frequently visited businesses to publicize related rules on IPR customs protection record and help them with customs record. It is informed that Shenzhen Customs is one of the customs that conduct IPR protection work in earliest time and is a main battlefield in combating infringing exports in South China. On March 7, Shekou Customs under Shenzhen Customs seized more than 73,000 pieces of clothes infringing international famous brands such as NIKE, ADIDAS and PUMA, valuing at 1 million yuan.
