Explanation of Organizing the Social Evaluation on Major Events and Influential Figures of National Intellectual Property Right Protection
Since the issuance of the Outline of the National Intellectual Property Strategy, departments and personnel in the field of intellectual property right protection have endeavored to promote the implementation of the Intellectual Property Strategy, and thus remarkable achievements were made in this field along with a number of major events (cases) and influential figures of great importance.
In order to fully display the publicizing, exemplary and cautionary role of the major events, typical cases and most influential figures of intellectual property right protection, extensively carry out the publicity of intellectual property right protection and promote the implementation of the National Intellectual Property Strategy, State Intellectual Property Office, State Administration of Industry and Commerce and National Copyright Administration decide to jointly organize a selection contest of the major events and the most influential figures of 2010 national intellectual property right protection. And for the purpose of encouraging more citizens to participate, enhancing the credibility and influence of the selection contest and creating a favorable environment for intellectual property right protection, the social evaluation organized by the Secretariat of the Selection Contest of Major Events of National Property Right Protection will be launched on the official websites of State Intellectual Property Office, State Administration of Industry and Commerce and National Copyright Administration on July 8th, 2011 and will last till July 15th. Meanwhile, the voting rules will be published for public comments.
